winnie we love you a lot okay! (though we don't always say it) but we do!

ROCKER SOH!

You were great today mann! I know it is hypocritical to tell you “It’s okay dude!”, because it is definitely not. You and your team have really come a painfully long way in this hockey season. I know how much you train every week, all those long runs and suicides and stickworks. And the many hours you devote yourself to this sport which you hailed as part of your life, somemore at the expense of ClickFive outings! But don’t worry, we understand your priorities. Personally, I really do admire your undying passion for hockey and the team. Despite having so much work, you have never once blamed it on long hockey trainings. While, I always complain about CO’s super long hours. So ashamed but Pala is unrepentant as always.

This season may not end exactly the way you want it to but hey, this is precisely the point that make it memorable and real. Every match you play have its lessons for you to take away and so does this final game. Isn’t defeat the very thing that makes men invincible? Yes, we lost but so what? Does that trophy prove that they are the champions? Do you acknowlegde that they are the winners? Deep down, we do not. At least for me and ClickFive, YOU are clearly OUR champion :D And there are some defeats a thousand-fold more triumphant than victories, today’s one was. Like The Joy Luck Club that gold trophy they hold will not last, it is only 14 carats or less. But our love for you is 24 carats, pure inside and out.

From primary to secondary to college, you have witness how each of us grew. Similarly, we followed you through. Each year, we see a stronger you before us with so much to teach. Even if it does not appear so, we learnt much from you. You deserve being our SHIFU! The perpetual determination and focus you taught us apart from eating cheese and Connect 4. I really believe that this sport has truly played a great role in molding you to who you are. Today, I thank Hockey for what it has imparted to you and I thank you for being part of our lives. Next time, cry not because you’ve lost another game. But cry with gratitude and joy, for God made Winnie but Hockey made Winnie a rocker.

DOG FORCES YOU TO SMILE, SMILE, SMILEEEE! you can try to think of fatty fatso falstaff (okay damn random but i suddenly thought of channy chan chan!), or the time when molly told you you were so "brave", or the stupid times we had during sectwo during sports day, or our retarded beijing trips.. etcetc!! stupid but it makes you laugh, i hope!!! :D
